starview 4 fix for ireland

Hi all,

Am new to this so apologies in advance if this is a stupid question. I have the starview 4 box and am based in Ireland. All of my channels went this morning. I am with NT Hell. Is there a fix I can download & will the UK fix's work in Ireland.

this is A link to the v1.06 firmware update...
it says uk so i presume it covers ireland too

the epg is a bit finicky so if it works for you try v.105 until they sort out an update

other than that just read the starview threads and hopefully someone will post a different solution.

Seeing as they are replacing rom 110 N2 cards ,with rom 142 N3 cards ,i would think so.

no plenty of others got a fix kryptview was first i think it took them a day ,itgate,sv4,digivox xl usb,dbox and others

Hey, Ive had the starview one for years which I sadly buried a few weeks back, trying to weigh up if sv4 is worth the risk, ie cost/lifespan, will it work on nagra 3 if they do switch?
