    Network Error 8000

    I have successfully updated over 20 boxes so far to the new SMGO 2.12
    BUT, i have one box that simply wont connect.

    Please Newbies don't suggest:

    Relash
    Factory default
    Downgrade software
    1819
    Switch off
    Check cables
    Modem
    Router
    etc

    History, box was working with Carling 1.04, never updated to original showmustgoon as friend have been working away so i've only just got my hands on it.

    It appears to me that the server is rejecting its connection
    when i try and check it in the network file manager i get " connecting to server...........Network Error.....8000
    If i plug my box back in, everything works fine, have even used my RS232/lan connector on the box just in case that had failed

    So come on you clever people give me some fresh ideas

              Ok, I'm in the same boat... new box - cant get on tsmgo 2.12 however I did figure out if you install carling and enter the IP of your PC in the network section under home streaming THEN upgrade to 2.12 it removes the network error 8000 however this still does NOT CONNECT network streaming is possible with this method.

              I'm kinda new to all this but playing round with different firmwares I was able to figure out the network error 8000 problem.

              Not sure if this helps anyone, and to willo, I can tell you are experienced with all this so I don't mean to come across as patronising!

              This for me fixes the network error 8000 but NOT the 'Not Connected'

                      Just hoping that this find may go someway to getting the problem fixed.

                              They have to be MPEG's as AVI's don't seem to work and its a bit basic. But yes you can stream movies this way

                                      CARLING-1.04

                                      Pretty sure it was that one. Again not wanting to get your hopes up as mine still shows as not connected.

                                      Don't do any factory resets after you go from CARLING-1.04 to tsmgo 2.12

                                      Hope they get a fix for this soon.
