Starview Noob :)

Hi i am new to all this starview stuff,

ive been updating the keys for 'the box super' (thats starview 2, right?) manually by using the secret menu.

and since theres a firmware update available which will fix the problem the new roll method, i thought i'd flash it.

i found the thread for the new firmware in the sticky section.

how do i actually flash, is there a guide?
whats rom when talking about starviews?

if you got a the box super, this is for starview 3 the box super, just get loader, connect it up and hit download...

connect via rs232 lead , flash using the unified loader , scan , turn on emu ,

then youll be up and runnning again

Im sorry, i wrote i had the box super,

ive just checked and it turns out its "the box"

Is their any differences?
what prog do i use?

There is a difference between the two boxes.If you go to the download section you will find the update for the box.It is important you read the readme file before you start.
