hi there still having trouble loading up 4.55 firmware error message: model name does not correct, can someone help please.

hi, just trying to load new firmware onto the box 4.55, but it keeps saying error message: model name does not correct, tried loader 4.00 and 4.03, thanks

what loader?

what cable ?

is it on standby ?

hi make sure your com port is set to the same one as the gt loader do u know how to do this ?

do it switched on and not on standby

download the 4.54.e_e and the logo file which will be in the zipped file

and then flash the box with the 4.54e_E and after that flash the logo file

When you flash the Logo file.. make sure on the Gtrom you select the option

background data file

once you have done that, you then apply the fix.

After that switch it off
Switch it on
re scan channels
switch on emu
Set default key
exit 3 times

and wait for the code to update

You may have to load the old 4.51 back on to get the box active again mate...
I had no problems loading the 4.55 after that...
