im a starview 1 owner and up untill monday i hadgiven up hope on a fix for obvious reasons so me been me bought a new box.. low and behold the day the box comes a fix is made available ha ha ha so now i got 2 workin boxes.
ah well think ill put one in my bedroom now
useless post i know but jus thought id share my experience

the box

Hi all , have looked through links but to no avail , has anyone got a step by step guide into installing the new fix , just cant seem to fathom it,i.e once you download the fix where do you store it to upload on to the gt rom , that kind of thing . Many thanks in anticipation, bucko

yeah same problem as post above, i thought i was half decent on a computer but i'm obviously more stupid dan i though, a step by step guide or help to the right link for downloading the new firmware for the small starview silver box would be great help, thanks lads

I was at the point of getting a new box, but went away for a week with work, so had to wait, the kids weren't impressed at all....first time ever work has done me a favour..thanks to all the guys involved
