STARVIEW POWER GONE!! help!!

The Story:
I uploaded the new firmware, i didnt know which 1 2 upload, i uploaded CryptStar-v1.5-Core400 18-12-08, the box was working perfectly afta that, i gt all channels, after that i turned it of and went to eat and came bak and try to power it back on, but it didnt , then i thort i uploaded the wrg firmware, but i checked and i didnt, i uploaded the right 1, then i try to flash it again but it wouldnt let me downlload anything into the box

The End ............ GIVE MORE ADVIDE TO REPAIR

My Startview power jst went off, doesnt turn on at all. HELP PLEASE!!!

What kind of starview device do you have?
Have you flashed the box with any recent software fix?
Is there anything at all on the front LCD panel of the box..?

YES i flashed it with the latest software. And theirs no light on the LED at all

Ok,
Turn the switch off at the back of the starview...
Prepare the box for a flash the gtRom 4.00 with the old (SV1) 4.00 eE_apin bin file... via the RS232 cable...
Switch the box back on and then very quickly hit the download button on the gtRom 4.00...
This may get the box back to life again...

Is there a clicking noise coming from the box m8?
How many slots are on the top of the box m8?
7 rows of 25?

There's a guy on fleabay selling the power supply boards for ?20 just now if you fancy changing it yourself, dont think it's that difficult to change either m8.

Mate your box is fine it needs j-taged you put none clone update on your box works till you turn it off then looks as if its dead update 2.6 done this to clones i had to j-tag about 200 of the.

Hi, you need to open the box up and take 2 pins off the main board !! if you want the information in detail pm or email me and ill help you, If its still not working, And ill sort the info out for the forums. ive already fix 2 boxes in the past with the same problem, You normally need to buy parts from maplins , But i know away round buying the parts, And getting it fully working, Very easy to do,

The clicking noise is indicative of the bootloader trying to start up. You need to Jtag it as you have bricked it by using genuine firmware on it.

@ Andy if you are talking about "pins", meaning capacitors thats not the problem, although you could up the C11 if needed.
