    Starview 6 - Modem - Router

    Hello all,

    I baught a starview 6 boxs about 1 year ago. The gentleman who i baught it from has now washed his hands of the system and will no longer help the people he has sold the boxs to when they go down. Im not very technical but i have my son in law here with me helping. He has just put the new firmware "Showmustgoon" onto the box, we recieve channels 1 - 5. Our box is connected to next doors internet with a long cable coming around the house to us. The modem is no connecting to the internet. Enet is a static green, recieve is flashing on and off and send has not light on at all. I can rember the gentleman connecting to the router and changing Mac addresses for about 1 hour each time until it connect. Where will i be able to get mac addresses from to fix the internet and recieve more channels.

    Thanks for reading and hopefully one of you clever people will be able to give me and answer or point me in the right direction.

          Im currently reading throught that thread and it all sounds like jiberish to me. Am i correct in saying. "They just dont work anymore?"

          Ive read 10+ posts now. People saying the boxs will never come back online. People saying my box is working fine. People saying some channels work not all.

          I have no idea what is true what is fake.

          Ive also been told you tell everyone Starview doesnt work and you have been proved wrong on a number of occasions.

          I dont know were to look anymore.

              yes its a bit funny on or off,kiddy says it is been looked at,have you tried powering off at rear box modem and router for 30 secs then on as sometimes this has to be done to connect,when you updated to the latest firmware did you factory reset and rescan also.dont forget to input 1819

              sometimes you also need to power iconnect off and on a number of times to connect.

                      you need to update it to smgo221 and also pay a subscription to support as well

                      reading the forum would have told you this , and will also supply the details for what I have just told you
