Getting only 0000000000000000

When i change 00 and 01 to 0000000000000000 save exit then go back in they are still 000000000000000. They dont change. how do you upadate them?

Both the box t and the digivox t update automatically when you exit the setup. Do you get a notice that the box is updating ??. This update message should reveal new keys and not the 000000 you are getting. What box are you working with and what firmware version is installed.

I have Starview 4 with v1.02. need this firmware for Ireland. It always says updating on the channels but the 0000000000000000 never change

Are you on cable or mmds. If you are on mmds you need the box t or digivox t.
MMDS from ch88us is delivered on a COFDM 8K carrier system and requires a T version box to receive it.

There's new Firmware available, so wouldn't that remove the need to calculate Keys? I'm guessing it incorporates autoroll for whatever they've changed otherwise there wouldn't be much point in releasing it.

As for how many posts you need before downloads I'm trying to figure that one out myself. I have it working, but auto-roll would be nice in case they decide to change keys again over the Christmas

Follow the advise posted by gavinlynch on page 1 of this thread. It worked for me on mmds and I guess will work on cable box also.
