    Channel Trouble shooting Guide

Press Menu on the remote control

you will then be represented with a number of options

select the option which says Factory Default

    Then press Ok on it

after that you will get a confirmation message saying ? press Ok to delete?

    Press OK on the remote

Then once the channels have been deleted you then get a screen which asks you select the language settings.

    You select ENGLISH.

    Now select Installation.

You will then have 3 options after that and they are:

    ? Cable network
    ? Automatic Scan
    ? Manual Scan

Use the Up and down Arrows keys on your remote to highlight cable Network and then use the left and right arrow keys on your remote to change your cable Network for example Ex/CW, T/W, NTL etc.

Once you have selected your cable provider which could be EX /CW or T/W or NTL depending on the area you live in.

Then use the up and down arrow keys to move to down or up and highlight Automatic Scan and press OK on your remote.

This will now start to scan for the channels and once the searching has finished you will then get a message saying how many programs have been found. For example if it has found 250 programs then it will tell you that it has found 250 programs and so on.

Then press EXIT on your remote 3 times and this will now bring you back to the TV you then select Sky sports and you will get a message saying bad or Scrambled channel.

Now press Menu on your remote Once only.

Then highlight installation and enter 1570 using your remote

Use the up and down arrow keys and navigate all the way down to where it says KEY EMU and then use the left and right keys to switch it ON

P.S: the best time to run a scan is at 9.30am as there is less traffic on the network at that time and you more of chance to get all the channels.

Also please not that you have a direct feed connected to the box and that you?re not using any kind of splitters.

Installing software on Starview BOX Super

Extract the software using WINRAR which can download if you do a Google search for it. After you have downloaded install WINRAR and extract the files. To extract the files locate the saved file (GTROM Super 8.00e.zip) and right click and select extract here). This will now extract the files in the same location.

Connect the box using the cable (RS232 9 pin DB ? USB). Connect the USB to your computer and the 9pin DB to the back of the box.

After extracting the software. You will see a file called: GTRom_Super_8.00e.exe

Double click on the file and once its open you see an option there called: File type > check the box that says: app file only and then press the download button.

This will now start downloading the firmware to the box and once the message comes up saying complete you then exit the program.

Switch back to your TV and follow the Channel Trouble shooting guide.

    Enjoy your Viewing!!!!
