i don't want to make this a personal issue ( thanks for the appology btw ) just to clarify a few points for you

My distibutor has a mobile, an email address , a website, a landline and a shop which i visit.
Everything is trading normally,,his staff are all working, but surely he is allowed a holiday without being accused of being in hiding
I bought all my boxes before SV got busted when the prices where pretty much set, a lot higher than they are now

As for closing the thread.....that was not my intention, but to concur with Satmo's advice that i would not get any more information on here and to press my distrubutor for help,,, hence this has run its course,,,you will notice Satmo thanked me on that post,,so maybe he understood what i meant

As for "young Man" i;m 50 years of age and been involved in Sat for 20 years then cable when that first come out, so please don't patronise me

How're you Willo,
If shop is trading there should be someone senior enough there to tell their suppliers to replace 5 boxes
if boxes can't be registered. Satsmo's a nice man & at times
hits thanks button out of pity. I'm 53, so you are a young man.
You really should have stuck with sat-system. At least there are
plenty of servers if one goes belly up.

go SAT people...its alot more hassle free..stress free...and mostly you would get what you pay for.

No doubt & 100's of servers, but dishes are one ugly motherfu**er
If they brought out dish that could pick up signal thru roof tile or
slate the landscape would be a lot prettier. I have fitted mmds
aerials in attics & they picked up signal. Surely to God when they
can fly to Mars They could devise a dish for attics.

How many times have people been warned about the shoddy work of SV, but payed no heed to the warning, not just by me but others as well, you have made your bed as they say now its time to lie in it, sorry if this feels a bit harsh but even i have moved to the Sat side since KV went down, time for us all to wake up and smell the roses.

Hi,sorry but I'm new to this or any other forum. I am looking for the SV7 connection code. I have had a box for about 9 months now,first with CARLING then SMGO. Now desperate to get going again.
Need your help please!

SV stopped working yesterday. Just loaded smgo2.2.1 and works fine. Thnx.

Best advice is to fac-reset box & flash with latest SMGO fix June 9

Scan for channels etc. & reboot router & box. If box does not
register contact supplier or "KIDDY"

Just load the niew firmware smgo221 for a family member on their SV6, it says it expires 15th June 2011, they bought it NEW in January 2011....

they had it for less than 6 months....not to mention the downtime and all the stress and hassle.

Hope you read this post kiddy, and hopefully finds a solution for all those in this situation + all those other boxes that saying Not Registered :-)

I updated my box on 13/06/11 and it has today (15/06/11) stopped working due expiry date

There is nothing anyone can do only by taking out a sub with starview if you want it back on
