to go sat site m8, you need.

            sly or mototrized dish
            third party box like, blade/openbox/starview/Dreambox
Card Sharing Sub (C/S), you can get good/crapp c/s, some subs are bad as channels will freeze and stutter, so u need to sho around.

and you will also require internet connection from your router to box, just like the current sv6/7 internet access

Come on people, can understand a few being miffed off at not getting twelve months out there boxes but your getting somthing instead of a blackscreen so stop the moaning and just watch the thing before it does go off.

sv wont be charging anything to renew sv because they wont be renewing boxes and never ever said they would ,everone seems to be going bannanas over expiry date if your box is less than 12 month old them am sure kiddy will sort it out but dont forget when sv went down many used boxes were boxed up and resold as new and most sv6 must be expired or near expiry date now

and another thing is the boxes were to expire after 12 months and started when mac address connected to server ,since the original server was nobbled my mr plod then the current service provider wont have these datails all they can go on is when the boxes were shipped from china or were shipped to the uk they wont know when boxes were sold to customer nor when they were first activated so will just be guess work so anyone with a problem can only contact kiddy and ask him to sort it out

Thought i would try that as mine said 23 sept, but i checked just before i did and mine has changed to nov 15 all on its own,,, so i think its something starview have done themselves possibly making all current boxes that cut off date

i think you will find out soon enough that, people will have to pay a sub when there box expires, 15 jun is for starview 6 box and 15 nov is starview 7.

how would they arrange for the sub payment though? assuming the Registered box users would pay thru their box suppliers (if the suppliers did that or agree to it, so thats another if).
..and those of us whose boxes are saying Unregistered, WHO would help those out?, which suppliers?
