    Data version is not match

I know we are all trying to get are channels back on but hope there is someone who has a second to help.

My box is showing a message:
    Data version is not match
set top box will load new database
please update new software and reboot

This happened after a power cut.
box goes into the menu and when i try to scan for channels it does not find any.

    Thanks for any help

          Thanks for your help

Just tried out your reply it is still the same.
maybe a power surge has wiped or damaged the bootloader

Does anyone know if there is a bootloader to reset the box?

Have you tried pairing it with another starview box using a null modem cable there are posts on here explaining how to do this it might work for this problem.
