hi just a question regarding the starview 3 box im intrested in buying 1 but cannot receive ntl or virgin t.v. in my area is there any other way i can receive the benifits ov this box through or with anything els eg broadband? or shall i go for something els on the market? if so any recomendations? thanks

no cable in your street? no cable tv mate sorry.
no way to use a box over broadband.
your only option would be a satellite box that can c/s

danny boy, has shady has rightly said you will need to look at the satellite method and not buy a starview at all. Have a read of this section General Satellite TV

In there you will see the type of boxes they use, do not forget you will need a dish as well as a box.

The type of box you end up buying is down to a few factors like your budget, your competency (now or if you are willing to learn), whether you want HD channels and how many channels you want and whether you decide on a motorized dish or a fixed one. Ask in that section and thhe guys in there will help you..
