Box super flash fail

Hi all,i am now on my 3rd null cable the latest one being the l71bt which i am assured is the right one for flashing but i still cant get it to work,i am matching the ports from 1 to 4 0n the updater( gt rom loader) with those on the com ports in the device manager and have tried to download on all 4 but still no luck.Is this something to do with drivers ? if so can someone help me out here please because i honestly dont know what i am doing here,would be really grateful of some help for a numpty here as ive been trying to fix this box for 2 weeks now.

I seen this happen plenty of times mate and dont have an answer for it... but..

what i can suggest is that you should try it on a different machine mate. Then see if it works

secondly you sure you flashing the right image to the box because this can happen if you trying to the wrong image mate

Its not connected by usb,its connected to the serial port on the back of my desktop pc,its this issue about drivers that i dont understand.
