Hi guys managed to get the update to my usb which is fat32 formated but when i try install to my starview 6 the system information still tells me i have the old firmware 2.12 i cant seem to install the new firmware when i press SMG221 on my menu nothing happens its not updating or not reading it properly does anyone have the same problem and can anyone steer me in the right direction been on this problem it seems like forever tried all sorts cheers guys

Try the new update todays ShowMustGoOn2.12

maybe the file is compressed if so needs extracting with winrar or winzip first before file is copied to a usb stick formatted to fat32 first

SMGO212...was the previous firmware..which is now obsolete

SMGO221... is the Latest fimrware for both SV 6&7.

I'd double check your formatting, because I had exactly the same thing, with last release, but had mistakenly used FAT16.

make sure the file ends in .ups

iam one step ahead of that m8 although an earlier post did say try SMGO212 to get free view channels anythings better than just terestrial channels
