SMGO 221 (unregistered)

Hi, this is not about the unregistered error.

Well not really, my question is, if I upgrade to this firmware and for some reason its unregistered, will I still get the basic UK old terrestrial channels like I am now, or am I buggered until a new firmware is released?

I'm not asking for what should or might happen, I'm hoping for people who have tried and know for sure to reply.

I see many threads about this, but all of them just say, "read the other threads", catch 22.

I seen an answer in the main starview firmware thread but cannot remember what page. But the ones with unregistered in the title do not appear to address the question as I said above, so you may be wasting your time, read the later pages of the firmware thread.

no fix untill the kiddy get us sorted so many pointless threads abt the same thing can moderators remove aw threads like this

quite a few people are having same problem

the only advise i have been given is to contact your supplier and ask him to register the box with starview .. but after saying that i have also read that it is a problem with starviews server not enough capacity for every one my box has never worked on any software all the other boxes i bought for my friends and family work fine i am woundering if i have ended up with a clone

My SV6 displays Unregistered box.

But...I can still view FTA channels like BBC/ITV/Channel 4/Channel 5, nothing more.

If you want to watch the free channels without the "not registered box" keep popping up, you need to downgrade back to SMGO 2.12
