I have been told by the supplier I used to get my box that he has now refused to sell any of these starview 7 due to the server being a complete rip... I explained to him what is happening with some boxes saying that they are not connected and he has told me they have been removed from the server. I asked him about him about new firmware and he said that it depends on how much money it will make in the long run (NOT SURE WHAT HE MEANS)..
He has told me that kryptview are going to implement the same method in the near future and has advised me to go down the sat route... So by the looks of it the person that has wrote this firmware has screwed us all unless he speaks out and tells us what his next move is.... I dont think we will hear from him any time soon.... SORRY GUYS

I honestly don't know..... I dont think anyone will get much for them now on fleebay.... All I do think is they need to find a solution really quick.....

Yeah your right about kryptview pal, starview and kryptview where made with a lan port for 1 reason only and that was to pay subs like sly servers do, in the past the cable box was basically plug and play but when nagra 3 came out it stopped all that so now with the new boxes there has to be a server set up some where so people can get the card keys to there box, just like sly boxes do, people dont set these up for free and that is where they make there money, after awhile whether it was starview or kryptview first, everyone was going to have to pay a sub, the days have gone where you could buy a virmin dodgy box and get everything free for years.
