A payserver is a payerserver, Sat or Cable, neither are infallible but support is a must.
If you are going down the Sat route via CS do so via family or friends ring, buy a subscription and share it between friends. That's what the name sharing means.
Commercial shares I am not fond of but with closed source STBs which include the SV6 & 7 the owners do not have much of an option.
However I will say that those who were told that they would get 12 months when flashing with the first SMGO firmware, (which was all at the time regardless of when they purchased their box), should still be given what they were promised.
A server cannot run on hot air, although given the nature of this one there has been plenty of that.
A compromise has to be reached but it must be fair on all parties. Truth been you make a promise you keep it.
BTW this timeline of six months and twelve months is not in the hands of those providing the server, it is in the hands of the CC who can easily change something and as a result blank screens either way.
And that is quite an easy thing to do on their part. This of course happened in the Nagra 1 days but then there were those outside of the commercial scene who "helped out". This is not the case now I can assure all of that.
