Bad Flash Starview 1

OK I must confess that in a moment of stupidity I flashed a starview 1 box with starview 2 f/w.
The box never got past the green lines when turning on, of course I did the the obvious thing coming up to xmas and that was buy a starview 4.
This is working great but have since come aware that you can reflash an old box even if the box is not getting to standby mode (Just a one green light bar)

Any advice would be most appreciated

Set up to flash as usual with the correct firmware but box off at rear, press download and flick the box on at the rear. May take a few attempts but it's tried and tested

thanks for the quick reply, just to clarify - do I need to flash back to the original f/w I installed over or is it OK to Flash with the new f/w that Sunrise and co have developed.

Just to add - it's worked on new f/w thank you i was doubting it for a while - this old box will make someone a happy xmas present. Brilliant support on this site
