Starview 7 is finally working

I'm not in a position to go the sat route, unfortunately, that's why i've had to invest in a KV and hopefully I'll get my money's worth out of it. My argument with kiddy is that 3 times we were promised updates for the DDigital duo boxes and it never materialised. Failing to back up promises with action is bad, business practice would'nt you agree?

If you can't go Sat KV is one of better choices. Best choice if you can locate local cable-server, is a Dreambox or similar linux box for cable c's.
Who promised you updates for Duo box, doubt it was "Kiddy"
Duo boxes are from STVU stable & used STVU server.
STVU Pi**ed on your heads
Don't think "Kiddy" will release fix for Duo to use his server. The nos just aren't there to make good business sense. He set up server to make money not as a community service.

Seein' as it's father's day I'll get your pipe & slippers, but don't go for a snooze. Lot of irate STVU punters will need senior counsel.

True but at least for the 25 quid you are deffo getting what you paid for and you will be able to watch the match with out it stuttering every 5 minutes.

you paid for an fta box - free to air , then you patched it to get scrambled channels with net access allowing that to happen from a srvr , whoever was running it

after the bust in february that all went t**s up and now its whoever can make the phoenix rise from the ashes and how much they want , it may or may not be the same ppl who ran the sv srvr , or any others that fed the euroview or ddigital or combo , none of you members know so dont pretend any of you do

whoever is resurrecting it has decided that you all must pay for the net access , and he or she may or may not allow for what was "promised" originally , not that anything was ever "promised" in the first place , the 12 month rule was innuendo , not fact

and there is no guarantee that it wont glitch under the new system so dont assume its trouble free , cos it wont be , rest assured

about "Kiddy", let's just say he has been checked out.
I would have grave doubts about quality of server at peak times,
but at ?25, it's worth a punt. I would give him a chance if I used
STVU box. Other option is SV6/7 boxes with 5 FTA channels

Snedz, you were advised to pay 6/month sub. A year is a long time
in the life of any public cable-server, no matter how genuine he is.
do the sums; 25+25=50, 12/month sub is ?45.
So you may have saved ?5, or you may lose a lot more than ?5
Do you think Provs are not already trying to track him down
