    Starview 4 (The Box) 1.03 FTA Firmware

    HI all, thanks in advance for helping. I have just recently bought a Starview 4 (the super USB) which has come with the standard 1.03 FTA firmware loaded. I understand there still having difficulties with the firmware?s and just wanted to keep the original one for the moment as I liked the menu layout. I?ve tried entering keys using the 1570 method but no menu appears.

    1) Does the original 1.03 FTA Firmware have the option to input keys?

    2) Which is the best firmware to put on at the moment? As I?m sure I?ve read the latest one isn?t necessarily the best.


    3) If I do put another firmware on it, has anyone got the original 1.03 firmware? Just in case I need to load it back on and send It back, as I?m aware updating most boxes invalidates the warrantee.

    Thanks all in advance for taking the time to answer what might seem simple questions.

      Hi all, I know no one answered but i thought i'd update and help anyone else who wanted the answers.

      A1) No you cannot input keys in the original FTA firmware. There is no secret menu thus no option to input keys or turn emu on.

      A2) Ive got 1.06 firmware and that seem fine to me. Still a work in progress i feel but definately worth using.

      Q3) Has anyone got the original FTA firmware 1.03? I would much appreciate it. PM me if needs.
