Starview 2 not updating help please

Hi,
I am new here so would appreciate any help offered.

My Starview 2 the box has stopped working on cable.

It has software 4.54e on it and until now worked ok. but now just keeps autoupdating on all channels for hours without it updating the keys.

I put the new keys in manually and it works until i turn it off then when i put it back on it just auto updates again with no luck

there is a fix in the download section mate

download it and install it

after that do a factory reset

re scan

set default key

Switch Emu on

exit 3 times

wait for code to update

enjoy




p.s: updated 15 boxes which are the same ones and never had one problem with any of them.

the fix is for UK only Gerry - don't try putting it in your box over there mate...

This fix does work.

It worked first time on my "The Box" (Starview-2), however, I had to reload it quite a few times on a friends box before it would autoupdate?
