asking for help please to update this box ivce downloaded the loader and firmware but when i connect using null modem nothing happens then box pops up saying download failed. the null cable im using is a blue 9 pin f - f but the plug on the back of the box is black, does this make a difference? is it a different cable i need?

Hi Sue, are you pressing ok and exit on the remote until you seen boot on the front of the LCD ? then you can flash it.

colour is irrelevant , but the cable has to be a 9 pin null modem cable as its a crossover cable , and set the com port to 115200 too

hi i have the loader and firmware for starview pvr with both com and usb ports. And i am using null cable nothing heppening. Help me please. Thanks
