Flashing Starview 3

Hi,

I have just tried to flash my Starview 3 but i'm not sure if it has worked. Is there any way that i can be sure it has?

I simply opened the Gt rom file, clicked download and let it reach 100%.

The box then instantly came back on.

Is this normal?

I read somewhere that you should change Com Port's and stuff!?! I didn't change anything.

ideally your com port should be set to 115200 for speed , but will default to a lower speed of 9600 so will take longer , thats all

check menu system info for gtrom 8.02e_E in the api box as that will tell you its taken , and also factory reset before scanning

and yes the reboot is normal
