there are no guarantees is this game m8

and at the moment you have 2 contenders , kv a780 and sv7 , nothing else

2 different SD boxes , 2 different s*rvers , 2 different systems and only one that requires a prepaid subscription
whereas the other does not ( at the moment , but who knows if or when that may change ? )

so you pays your money and takes your chances , and of course that is also dependent on vm not implementing counter measures to render both boxes out of action , by encryption changes or tactics , as they clearly wont be sitting on their hands allowing this to continue and I am sure they are in direct contact with kudelski , the police , trading standards , paypal , and sundry other organisations to try to bring back the failures you all had from feb 2011 to may 2011 in some way.shape or form

this is probably the lull before the storm , and I expect it to kickoff again when the balls do at grounds all around the country , and especially by november 2011

it could happen to any system by any broadcaster on any delivery platform , be it sly on 28e using dishes , cable like vm , or any terrestrial systems delivered by aerials like topuptv or mmds

the point regarding satellite is there is more than just satellite up there , and from a sly dish alone you can get freesat with up to 150 or more free channels including HD ones needing no subscription at all , even on an sv combo

add to that systems like multi-lnb or motorised and there are a score or more satellites delivering programs that even uk residents watch , many with english audio , some delivering 3pm kickoffs or the boxing on a saturday , and a myriad of encryption systems , and a svcombo can access some of those still

as they say "the world is your oyster" but as they also say on the lottery , "you have to be in it to win it"

at the moment you have one delivery method controlled by two 3rd party boxes and 2 s*rvers , not able to change provider or s*rver either , and totally reliant on several factors to make it all work , and it fails as soon as any one of those factors fails

you are as tied in with sly or vm as a fish on the end of a hook , being reeled in with no chance of evasion

yep , forgot about freeview , that has around 100 channels including HD channels too

so say 17 fta on cable , up to 100 fta on freeview , over 150 fta on satellite , and thats before we start on encryption systems or other sats etc

I do not and will not pay for these payservers at all , I dont have cable as its not in my area ( many areas never got it ) , and yet I have more channels than the majority of kv and sv members here , and can usually get sport , matches , boxing , films , cartoons , music , documentaries , news , pron or anything else that is up there , and I suspect mods and admins here , and veterans also , do so as well

take off the shackles and maybe you will come out into the light from the dark corner some of you are in now , or will be when the proverbial hits the fan
