Some help on STARVIEW 7

Hi can some-one help me please.... A friend has just bought a secondhand starview 7 but the problem is that the menus have been locked out so he cannot do a factory default.... He has the person he bought it off and they cannot remember the code.... Is there a way to over-ride the code...

starview master was always 1668, dont have one of these bricks so cant try it
