start from scratch,do you have the latest firmware on the box?
yes ok try this power off box modem and router at rear for 30 secs then on,also make sure 1819 is active.
home plugs can fail also double check all lan connections.

if you want information or technical help regarding your starview then you can post here with no problems

the biggest problem is the fact that most of the new topics are not about your boxes but relate to server matters , like is it up ? , is it down ? , how do you pay ? , who do you pay ? , megakiddy this , sv support that , none of which has anything to do with this forum OR any other forum

if sv support want to take your money and provide support , that is up to them but they should provide their own site for it and have it as a support forum too

the same rule applies on here for many years now on any other pay server platform so the sv support server is no different !

all these support posts should be closed and are quite rightly being closed

you should be contacting the people you have paid if you have support issues that are server related

but , if you wanted to know how to flash your box , or connect it to a router , or want a pin number because it is locked out , then no problem with any post

satsmo and the mods are quite right in their viewpoint on this , and its the same on all forums , not just this one

payservers are the pits , so do not pay them a penny , period

All this guy did was answer a question saying it's still live! Nothing more!
When someone was obviously not capable of working throught the simple troubleshooting of checking if they where live or not!

Oh and by the way there is only a very very very small percentage of sv users paid for support! So these user who ain't paid for support simply come to the forums for help and support! My team do provide support for paid cusomters and yet have I seen or found a cusomters that have had serious issues following support service that we have not resolved for them!

I refuse on the grounds that I will not help megakiddy run an illegal payserver in order to make money , so as you are new here try reading the forum


as for tony-i , I didnt realise DK had introduced a new rule saying you had to own a box before commenting on it

but as I already own 1 sv combo and 1 sv3 and 1 kv a780 I suppose I am exempt for those 2 forums , and as I already have a family and repair laptops and pc,s I dont need marital or hobby advice either
