why does objecting to payservers mean you're on the wrong site...?
DK as a forum gives no help to any payservers, so surely by wanting to discuss payserver related issues, YOU'RE on the wrong site

The forum may give no help in regard to payservers but they're hardly a rarity to forum members. I'm sure plenty of people on the sat side use them.

I'm not a sat forum user but I doubt ramjet and the other members of the moral majority crusade over there. Or maybe they do?

If you don't like it I can't understand why you'd come here to make endless repetitive comments. It's boring and a bit weird. If you don't like it, move on.

well, sats not strictly payserver oriented is it?
the starview server IS. therefore, we can give help on TECHNICAL issues only.. if you've got no channels becasue you havent paid, we will not advertise for the sv server by telling you how to get the channels on, if you HAVE paid, and have no tv, we will tell you to contact your server.

You don't have to use a payserver but I can assure you plenty do. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge knows that.

dont worry , my thoughts know no forum boundaries and as under your new rules I am allowed to post in the starview section I will continue to do so , just to help others make an informed decision which is what is usually expected of senior members like you and I

just seems a shame that you are on a moral quest to rid the sv forum of conscientious objectors to the new payserver monopoly model, or that you condone its continued existence on this starview forum where it continues to dominate the first dozen or more threads thus allowing kiddy to profiteer illegally

as long as ramjet posts about sv in the sv section, and doesnt break any forum rules, then whats the problem?
you don't agree with his point of view, so argue against it with reasoning. Don't just reply with 'yeah we've read it, stop repeating yourself', the central tenet of ANY forum is to promote discussion and help each other, as long as the rules are followed.
in my opinion ramjet is both attempting to help people by denigrating the sv model which to be honest is pi55 poor and his posts open up a discussion.. he's coming from a good place. You dont agree, therefore you should post with a structured argument against his post.

as has been said, every one is entitled their opinion on dk, regaurding deleted sv threads, these are only deleted if they are like a mirror image of other sv threads, we have to keep on top of these threads or we will be snowed under with them, as long as threads are not like other threads already posted, and they follow forum rules, they will stay, otherwise they go in the very big dk recycle bin
