I would be interested to know where I have tried to stop anyone posting, or tried to police the forum.

I've merely pointed out that some people are boring and repetitive. What they wish to do with that information is up to them.

it is not your place to do this however !

you should stick to dealing with the facts instead of trying to get others to conform to your wishes as a self appointed forum troll

I have nothing against starview boxes or their owners , just this megakiddy monopoly payserver system they are being forced to use despite having bought boxes that should have had say 12 months support after they were logged into the server , so an expiry 12 months after the initial login , so if it gave them that and then went to a pay model I would not feel the same about it , although I dont agree with it

on the sat side you have a choice of where you go and how you do it , and whom you pay , so its also about choices , never mind the paper trail being left behind by using paypal

its a get rich quick money making scheme remniscent of the nigerian 419 advance fee fraud schemes and you will find that when it fails this forum will get many repetitive posts about it being down , and more repetitive posts saying "I told you so"

in the meantime , I will continue to inform those who bother to read on my views on the subject , and would hope that this forum gets back to helping members with box issues , and not payserver issues , the same as you see in the krypt and sat forums too

try writing about starview matters instead of trolling members , and maybe you would get the same back in return

as shadyback clearly pointed out in his earlier reply , make an informed argument against what I am saying , dont just take the p*** out of the answers being given , or those members either , as that is being a troll and trolling

childishness is quite the correct word shadyback , he clearly has nohing useful or informative to say about the facts so has to resort to forum attacks , even when he asked where he was going wrong , he clearly didnt like the answers so we struck a raw nerve

it's all the so called satellite supremos who seem to slate cable boxes, saying Sat cs is the future. Great if you want to go the sat side....good luck to you, i was programming sat boxes 20 years ago...when it was hard to do.but each to their own,,,if people want a cable box, so what...they don't need to be told every 5 minutes its crap or a waste of money
Q. for the guys who have been doing at for many years like i was

1. how many different types of boxes have you bought
2. how many different types of cards have you bought
3. how many different types of cams have you bought
4. how many different types of programmers have you bought
for all these to suddenly stop working and need an upgrade

how much money has it cost you over the years for FREE sat ?
how many cardboard boxes full of redundant bits do you still have

You have to Pay for everything in one form or another without labelling it

So if your only purpose is to keep telling us cable boxes are crap.....

If I was Irish and really bitter because I bought a starview last year and it lasted a week do you think it would be really weird of me to then devote my life to slagging them off. (No names mentioned of course.)
