it's all the so called satellite supremos who seem to slate cable boxes, saying Sat cs is the future. Great if you want to go the sat side....good luck to you, i was programming sat boxes 20 years ago...when it was hard to do.but each to their own,,,if people want a cable box, so what...they don't need to be told every 5 minutes its crap or a waste of money
Q. for the guys who have been doing at for many years like i was

1. how many different types of boxes have you bought
2. how many different types of cards have you bought
3. how many different types of cams have you bought
4. how many different types of programmers have you bought
for all these to suddenly stop working and need an upgrade

how much money has it cost you over the years for FREE sat ?
how many cardboard boxes full of redundant bits do you still have

You have to Pay for everything in one form or another without labelling it

So if your only purpose is to keep telling us cable boxes are crap.....

when people come onto the fourm thinking about buying a cable box, is it not our duty to inform them of the choices available?
should we just say 'yeah sv/kv are great' and sit back to wait to for the inevitable posts saying 'its not great'?
both sv or kv have the same fundamental problems.. one server supplying 1000's of boxes...

Ram yer better of ignoring em, the guy has been banned from a few sites over the same thing, he thinks that forums like these are aimed at one country, if your not from that country, dont speak or Tony crawls out of the woodwork and starts with his incessant tripe, it then descends into his childish posts, he was banned from a few places for it, You should know what the I in his name should stand for by now....... the guy has a real problem, been found out on other sites, starting it here I see

your 2 posts above seem to be at odds with one another , please clarify which is correct ?

just for the record , in answer to your second post above , my answer is LOADS , ie:- several to all of them , and I have never said it was free either. if it went back to how it was before february I have no problem with either of the 2 systems or boxes no matter what name they are sold under

lastly , although I sypathise with the irish over the bust a year ago , I am neither irish nor live in eire so have no axe to grind there , nor have I lost money or service so am not replying for selfish reasons

lets have it back to how it was and you wont hear me complain about said cable boxes , no matter who is running them , but it would help if there were choices on cable the same as exists on satellite , and owners should make their own decisions , providing they have the correct facts
