You were way out on dish price and fitting, should only cost ?50 supplied and fitted. I can get a sly dish with quad lnb for ?6.50, so a fitter would make ?40 for 30 mins work

Sat box 50-800 depending on what u want, Dish & LNB 10-80, Cabling ?10, snap & seals or standard f's ?1, Sat finder?.. Or installation by a pro ?40-60, subs?.....

Then you have extreme weather, snow, wind and rain that can effect the dish! Even emergency vehicles, tree's upon a dozen other things! Then you have the obvious other variables Internet, box, image, service, router to potentially have issues with!

Then upon all other things we are having the implementation of a new nds system and sly new cards due to be released in the coming months!
Then where talking about either getting new lines! From new providers (as I can imagine many existing providers doing one and rebranding as a new serv!) plus reflash of an image that supports oscam or even installing to your current image ( not for newbies) to oscam and even that not guaranteed to get all the channels back!

Or you can just get a closed source box ie kv or sv for roughly the same price as each other including subs and there much less hassle (to say the least hahaha)

A Sat service is better than your's I won't go into it.........I don't feel the need............you're corrected, I don't play or hate either?

BTW stop making assumption based on providers you know nothing about, you and Co. should be worried about the current cable provider making changes. A small one would have you in a knot or two and they are already there waiting to be implemented.

I have no problem with comparing things but you need to realise you a selling a product it is always hard to be taken seriously when there is financial gain involved your views are somewhat one sided.

not quite sure where the much less hassle is coming from, seems to have been plenty of hassle with both sv and kv servers and people losing channels over the last few months.

tbh i wouldn't recommend to anyone to buy either of them at this stage in the game.
