Starview No IP

I got the starview box 7 and basically I have put the ethernet in from the router etc.

I installed the new software and then factory settings the box and then I went to check the Network bit and it was set to automatic but all the fields had 0.0.0.0

Is there anything I can do?

I checked the ethernet wire and it was fine.

I have 2 boxes and it did not work with either. Could it possibly be a damaged R232 to RJ45?

sometimes you need to reboot as in power off at rear box and modem for 30 secs then on,have you inputted the 1819?? to connect.
when you flashed the box did you factory reset and rescan.?

All else fails, contact SV support for help, thats what ya paid em for also............
