sat boxes use now and next on most broadcasters , some like dreambox and vu+ download a plugin version , but these simpler boxes dont

The Epg works fine on almost all of the satellite with the exception of the one we would likely be using most.
28.2 East :-(

Now & Next now works 100% on 28.2 East..
Thats one upside..
The box also reports that its running cccam 2.1.4 rather than 2.0.11 but I would still be suspicious of this. Still very slow to pick up any cccam lines when coming off a free to air channel.

Gr8 work Bytemaster. I put this on yesterday and its defo improved my box. Before everytime I moved from fta to paid channels I would have to wait 30/40 secs before it cleared but now its like a few seconds if that.

Also now I get less of the scrambled channel message whilst watching a channel and so far none of the no signal message which would suddenly appear, so all in all for me a big improvement.

Oh and Ive not even mentioned the channel list, I like this a lot. Very good improvement on previous.

Hi there, was going to give this software a try, but I'm not that bright, serial cable can I use a null modem cable? what files do you load to box, .the uad's? whats the vlc file for? Sorry to be a pain. Thanks in advance, Steve.

Streaming

Hi Guys
I have installed the Spider firmware and the EPG files, all working OK apart from being able to stream from computer to HD Box. The streaming software on the computer shows a connection but the HD box shows no files, any idea's?

I just couldnt stream from the box and in the end I kinda gave up. Tried around 3/4 different laptops and also a couple of desktops and although would show connection wouldnt show any files just like what you are experiencing.

Think there were a few of us who were trying this and dont think any of us managed it.

Maybe if anyone did manage it they might come on and post a few tips. If you get it going let us know.

I have check my setting & there is no were in networks that I can change to ccam?
I could not find the following in the menu:
Do not turn on Neuovox stream
Do not turn on Service plus

& "Do not do ever do Net SW Download" I have not done anything.

Highlight network, press 1111 on remote, Key edit should now appear. click on this and make set you set both UCAS and UCAS AUTOROLL to ON.

Exit it out then go back to network now click on this and another menu will appear. go to client setup and click on on it, another menu will appear and it's here you enter your sub.

It's more than likely that it is already there and just needs to be set to on again.
