    Hi all
    When attempting to download latest firmware with loader v4.0 on the box 2 the stb model doesnt show in box therefore unable to download , completly confused now , and many thanks to all who have got me this far . Seasons greetings , bucko

    use loader v4.3 with the box and load v4.55 or better still v4.57 into the box , and factory reset before and after

        the loader v4.03 was with the v4.54 firmware posted ealy this year , and the v4.0 was the old loader , no good for the latest files , so go through the d/l section and look for the v4.03 loader or the 4.54 firmware files

          Just found new firmware and loader but only coming through as rar file and wont open on my laptop , just popping up as a word document , thanks

            use winrar to open rar files , and winzip to open zip files , or google for free programs like 7 zip

            pc issues or not starview issues m8

              Cheers will let you know how i get on and from past posts am i right in thinking that useing vista is a no no and to only use xp

                always has been an issue , as have usb adapters

                so the ideal situation is a pc using a standard com port running xp
