    SV7 not finding channels

Hi my sv7 is not finding any channels at all.

I install showmustgoon and done what the read me said and I got an original rs232 converter.

I checked the Network and it has all the fields filled except USER DNS.

    What could be the problem?

I do not have the male to female cable though, do I need it?

you need latest smgo on software 2.2.1, are you sure the feed coming in is live, have you a vermin box to test, or have you got their broadband. coax could be ~~~~ed, and last thing, do you have a splitter on feed.

and one last thing turn off router and modem, then switch back on.

It still did not find any channels. I removed all splitters and I know the line is live as I have a vermin box which is live.

It also stays on 314Mhz for about 20 seconds and the SQ is 95 on each side.

the channels come into the sv7 from the coax input , so if the vm box works and the sv7 doesnt then your sv7 is faulty , as it uses its own inbuilt tuner and the coax feed for the channels , so you should get at least 17 fta channels including bbc

95 is a very high signal to have for scanning on.

have you got the virgin coax cable screwed in the top port.
