Is it worth keeping a STARVIEW HD COMBO +LAN

is it worth me holding on to this box i have used it on the sat side but i have a blade box now and its so much better to use than the starview hd combo lan box so i was thinking of selling it, but as its a double tuner box with a cable side to it this makes me think to keep a hold of it. would the cable side ever come back on this box is it even possible for someone to reactivate the cable aide for this box in the future. if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

    many thanks

there deffos going to go off, they already have done in australia apparantly. ohwell im sure there will be another solution in the future. if slys prices wernt so high i would sub with them but they like to rip people off and complain about other costs they payout. ohwell

the "OSCAM" protocol, which is open source might still work, but only on Linux boxes from what i have heard. Its a shame boxes like Blade is not open source, cos thats a one hek of a good box in terms of quality and user friendliness.

All this scaremongering is just that enjoy it while it lasts plus even if they do kill it you will still have a box capable of showing more channels than freeview.

yeah the blade box is really good its way better than the starview hd combo lan box for me, but the starview has a dual tuner so if cable did come back at somepoint i suppose that would be a bonus. even to look at the blade is better and the channel listings are much organised more.
