starviews operated as a payserver model now, and as such goes against the rules of the forum... someone may pm u with details, objectors such as myself will strongly advise you to return the sv and if you MUST go cable route, get a kryptview a780. the kv is no better than the starview (they both have crappy servers) BUT the kv server is at least freeFave replies from various threads

starview vs kryptview?
i disagree. starviews server is much better quality than kryptview. i have both and my kryptview is very pixelated cant even read subs most times but sv7 is much better viewing but i do agree to one thing, its a skank u have to pay for it and kryptview u dnt but kryptview will either be down shortly or they will jump on the wagon of fees and im pretty sure, they are are working on it!!!Comment

but oh forgot to mention. starview servers are back up again was down for a few hours. reset ur box (turn off turn on go to sports 1 and 1819 etc and wait)Comment

true. once they get raided they wont need to hand over the information cops will just take it. but either way, even if kryptview are raided, they dont need your info, just your IP address to trace ya! police dnt really chase the punters. they wont raid you for just a box...but if you do get a knock on the door, for any reason, hide that box. fit it into an old xbox shell or something haha. well i have both boxes and im happy with em both for what i paid. neither one is down at the same time as the other so im never without my channels....no...i mean my KIDS are never without disney etc!
my final say would be, we know what we are getting, we know its a gamble, and we know its much cheaper than sly or virmin whom you call out for an error on your box and they take days to come and tel support is some kid in a shed in india asking if you have turned your box on....ermmm insulting and they want approx ?40-?60 a month!! starview team respond in minutes. kryptview respond in minutes. and so does DK....DK should have a server/box . if i had one id charge punters...i aint goin jail broke!
