How do I JTAG Starview 1? Guide NEEDED!

Hi people, my starview 1 wont power up at all, i think i updated with wrong software, could anyone give me link for instruction for jtag and i also need the software to jtag. Please help.

How do i do that? Factory Reset? The box doesnt even power on, when i plub it in and try to put it on, it makes a clicking noice, dats all, no screed led or nething.

Hi ,
without so much as an LED displaying when you power up , the damage may already be done .
With so little info to go on , the best i can suggest , is you connect you're starview to your PC and try to load V257ee
firmware.
Try starting your download from your pc , then switch on your box , if successful , do the same with cryptstar V1.5 core 257 for clones over it , and you may be up and running .

Yes this will work
Sounds like does need jtag if all you get is click noise when switching on

And if you dont think your upto making the jtag lead just search ebay for starview jtag and pick one up for ?10

Hi Ther, I got Starview 1 Clone, I put the wrong software in, so the box is dead now, there's just a clickin noice coming, i tryed to JTAG with SKYMAX 2.2, It Connects Then i clicked on Erase and then i clicked on Write and in that i selected the new firmware which is CryptStar-v1.5-Core257, it starts wrtting but at the End it says it Failed. This is the error: "Error writing flash at address 80000000 ACK = 00000000"
