My starview USB the box is running fine but I have seen two files available that are called firmware and loader what are they for and what do you do with them

firmware means the latest file download to update the box.
I gather it is the new starview 4 Super?
V1.07 is the newest so i'd reccomend putting that on ur box.
Flash your box first with factory settings then install v1.07 then auto search channels make sure keylock is on. In the menu screen press 1570 to get secret menu.
Also make sure you only put the box 4 firmware on and not starview 3, 2 or 1 loaders or fimware.

the 1.07 update means you dont have to enter keys to get premium chanells ,just put the latest f/ware on your usb pen drive ,plug it into the back of your box and install through your starview menu.

that happens to most of the boxes sometimes dingle...
check what time and date it is on your box - if time and date are not right then the EPG wont function properly...Comment
