help needed

just got starview 4 today and after loading 1.07 firmware and auto scanning it just keeps saying no new channel,cheers

hi,

have you factory reset yet?

if not try that in the main menu screen, then once again from the main menu screen type 1570 to get secret menu and turn keycode ON!

then install firmware v1.07 again and then rescan automatically!

The $ signs dont dissapear but the channels should work.

WHAT CHANNELS HAVE YOU GOT THEN?

Make sure the your cable is plugged in to the back of your box and when you scan make sure you pick the right service provider for your area

all cables are correct the service provider round here is virgin but it used to be ntl by the way i am in blackburn area

I have the same sign next to mine when you do get all the channels you will have 70 to 74 make sure after you scan you go to menu press 1570 go down to key code and change to on
