The Box Super

Hello All, I have one of the Starview "The Box Super" boxes. I have loaded the latest ver. s/w, however after doing the NTL / CHORUS scans for Ireland, all of the good channels remain Scrambled!. Anyone with any ideas?.

go into secret menu and turn on emu
secret menu = menu - 1570

do a factory default first m8 to get rid of all the old frequencies.

have the box super APIver:7.05e_E now it would be great if i had a clue what any of this means! however my box will only show mw RTE1 and setanta ireland all other channels are bad or scrambled...... help is needed

download to box, on standby, then follow info in these forums

First of all make sure you have the latest firmware on the box. Should be 8.04
You check this from the menu - System setup/System information
If you haven?t got 8.04 you can download from the sticky threads.
Plug you Box into your Pc and switch it on. Click on the 8.04 file you have downloaded .When gt rom appears select download.(usually on com 1) Wait till it has fully 100% downloaded.
Once you have flashed the new firmware go into the menu and do a factory reset.
Rescan the box choosing your local cable provider.(N*L etc) Choose english-autoscan
Once the channels have saved, exit out 3 times.
Press menu and then 1570 you will go into another secret menu.
Highlight the default key and press ok.
Then scroll down to the emu and turn it on.
Exit out and put your box onto a S*y 1
Wait for it to update. This may take a while.
You should be now all up and running
