SV subs ... is it working ?

My SV has now expired today (even though exp date up to yesterday was September) ... Grrr ! My question is ... is there anybody out there who has actually paid the subscription to keep their service going ... and if so ... is it working ? (whilst I look into changing to Sat )

hi there i have paid subs via my mate who got me the sv7 originally and my box is still on watching sky movies right now my expiry date has changed to aug 2012 hope i get 12 months ?45 worth a punt hope that helps

Yes it does, thanks for that.... do you know how long it takes for the SV7 to be up and running again once you pay your sub ? And do you just give them your box no. and they register it or summat ?

yeah i gave my mate me box no. and he rang someone up and gave them the number my box never went off completely because i paid the subs 4 days b4 it was due to go off its expiry changed about 36 hours later because i was watchin a movie and it got scrambled half way through the box was down for about an hour then came back on and expiry had changed and where it says connected the numbers had disappeared

at the end of the day susie you pay your money you take a chance hopefully i will get 12 months if not so what ?45 is not lot of money the service is better now watched the man u game no glitches but still a few channels missing but got most movie channels and all sky sports sly or vermin charge around ?80 a month for the same so if you get a few months out of it still not bad go to the guy u got the box from see if he will arrange payment like i did cheers

i paid ?25 on paypal @ 15/08/2011 and it all came back on 17/08/2011, so lets see how long this lasts,

Can anyone please confirm how and where you pay the subs to get the Starview 7 back up and running again?

You need to go on to mystarview.com and click on the forum. You will be asked to register. Once on the forum, you need to click on to the VIP section in red. Once you are in there it will give you a drop-down menu to add a subscription ... that is where you pay.
I paid mine at 7.30pm Tuesday and it was all back up and running by lunch time today (Wednesday)
