Starview HD Combo - Sat Set Up Help

Hi All,
I have updated my box and connected to Sat side of things with the help of info on forum.
I am now going to try a C/S test line
What is the best to use CCcam or Newcam ????
Any advise on above and how to enter this info into box would be a great help.

Hello Taz,

Am using Starview HD LAN Combo Carling+_F531_1207 which is in download section and set up details can be found on download section as well. About free test lines for CCCAM just google it you will get it everything. As same way have found it.

During my reading I mistakenly thought Groverider was for Cable
and Carling was for Sat - not the case - any will do...
But what is the difference betwen each ?

you are best to use the combined file carling 0712 firmware (carling+ 0712.uad ) on your box , even though its no good for cable , apart from you will get about 17 or more fta channels on cable at the moment , but it also contains the grooverider from july 2010

carling was the combined grooverider with knightrider so was a combined file for cable and satellite

alternatively use the bytemaster BORED ONE DAY file and make it an mv300 or spiderbox ( without the gift ) and use that for satellite only as its more up to date and will take spiderbox lists

Is Carling+ 0712.uad one of the above under an alternative name or completely different

if u have a null modem cable then i would suggest the file i was bored 1 day file from downloads its the best and newest 1 about and the picture quality is allot better

Carling+_F531_1207.UAD is the correct one for sat and cable , or use the spiderbox one for sat only ( no cable )
