    Starview 7

Hi all, i've binned my vermin tv and would like to get a starview. What do i need to do. I'm not the best with this stuff but used to get my old dbox going ok. Where do i start as a friend bought a starview then sent about ?40-?50 to someone and they anabled them a conection (think this is card sharing)
Can i just download the software to the box myself without using anyone else. I know i must keep my broadband to connect to but if some body could just help me get started thanks Donka.

Hi all does the starview have to be chipped before i put on the latest firmware or do i just buy a new one and go from there. Also do i have to subscribe to a third party to card share or will this work so long as i have my internet connection thanks Donka.

flash the box with the above firmware, and to get the box working yes a sub is needed for 6 or 12 months viewing.

After a bit of research would i be right in saying going down the dish route is best. If so how do i get going. If there's anyone living on Merseyside wants to get me set up with the best dish and other stuff i'd gladly pay them. They can pm me. It's not that i don't want to learn and do it myself but i think people may get pixxed off with me starting from the beginning any help much appreciated.
