    No Signal?

    Hi,

I have recently bought a starview 7 box and I have paid the ?25 subscription as my box was saying not registered.

I have not had confirmation that the payment has gone through but my box now has an expiry date and the error message has gone so I am presuming it has.

The new problem is that the screen is grey and now saying "no signal" - and the box does not find any channels when I scan it.

    Can anyone help me?

    Many Thanks

    Dave

check your coaxial cable is live and plugged into correct input as a dead feed will give you no signal

check your scart lead is in the correct socket and fully inserted, could also try another scart

EDIT : have you also scanned on the correct net ID for your area

have you got the latest firmware on your box, they are normally delivered with only the free to air firmware loaded
