    Starview 3 Picture Quality

I was wondering if any one could give me some advice on the picture quality being outputted from my SV3 box.
I have a Samsung TV and when watching the cable through the SV3 the picture quality is pretty poor, its not unwatchable, but its noticeably pixelated and a little grainy.
I was wondering whether it would be worth buying a signal booster, the only thing putting me off is that if i put the cable feed directly into the tv the picture quality is a lot better which makes me think its the SV3 box is to balme and not the signal strength.
Does anyone have any experience of this and know whether it would be worth getting a signal booster?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

most people use cheap quality and expect good results,i would use a high quality scart and coaxial as both pick up interferance,13 amp power supply also dirty current i use a monster product that has 2 x 13 amp plugs out tv and vcr surge protected and coaxial in an coaxial out protection.

Thanks cactikid, so u think i should upgrade my cabling over getting a signal booster? As i said with the cable feed direct into the tv the picture is fine so i guess the scart lead connecting the sv3 to the TV is the place to start?
