hi,just tried installing latest update '21122008' gone through the burn process but my system info still says an older version. when i try a scan no channels are found. am i missing something??

Are you scanning on the right provider m8 ?
ie Telepest, NttttttttttttL etc etc.
The firmware in question has just been modified to autroll, it's not new firmware ok.

yeah on the right provider just can't seem to unlock the autoscan. the autoupdate is on, system info is E_4.506. should i be putting a different software on?

Try a factory reset, then rescan, then put the emu back on m8.

navigate to parental control--click on it then press i (info button) then 2007 on your remote, should take you into the cas menu, turn emu on m8.

i've done that tenfold, emu (autoupdate) on exit but when i try to scan for channels it's got 'unlock' bottom right hand corner and don't find any channels. i've even put the keys in manually of keymaster saved after each line.

That answered my question then, My System Information still says 2007 too.
