    Box T MMDS Ire firmware

Hi, rel newbie, so sorry if answer already here, but I cannot find it. Have had Box T for Ch**S in Ire for nearly a year, went down with everyone elses b4 xmas. Was on holidays, came back new year, installed latest firmware, now '0 programs found'. I followed all instructions. (?) Tried Gavins thread with zeros (keys), but couldn't update as wouldn't exit to normal channels. Can anyone help? Rgds, Ned

Is this the latest firmware that you used Digital Kaos - Downloads - STARVIEW THEBOX T FOR MMDS IN IRELAND 22/12/08

If so carry out a factory reset, rescan and turn key emu back on.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

Turn it off from the back switch for a minute or two. Then go through installation and scan procedure. Put key emu back on.

This should solve the stuck on language screen problem.

Thanks for your replies Satsmo, I've installed and scanned twice, but not finding any programs, cant get out from language screen. (My keys for 00 and 01 are 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 after trying another fix)
ie, I installed latest firmware up to 100%. plugged into tv, chose english, did automatic scan, '0 programs found' put emu on, exit, exit, but still cant get past 'choose language'.....

I have another box that I bought for my brother in law, but he hasn't hooked up yet. I might try it on that 2moro, (but mine has been working fine for nearly a year?) cheers

                    No Philly

I only got around to doing it today. I've 2 boxes now, no channels. I flashed software onto 2nd box as per instructions. I then tried to set up as per below instructions. (There's a flaw here, you cant go to correct provider without going into '1570' screen.) After automatic scan, no channels were found. I searched elsewhere on the web and tried manually putting in other recommended keys. Always comes back with no channels found. My first box always goes back to the select language screen.

The other thing I was wondering, there is no mention of 'Starview' on my box or the box it came in., just 'The Box-T'.

                    Anyone any ideas?

? Plug the box in to the TV using the usual scart lead.

? Turn on the box, press menu and go to installation,

                    ? Select correct provider i.e. N*L, C/* , T*, C***US.

                    ? Then automatic scan

? Once the channels are found, exit back to the blank screen

? Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu,

? Go down to emu and turn it on.

? Now exit and wait for it to store all the data.

                    ? That?s it, have fun

there is no provider listed because there is only one provider for this box,if u have a provider listed wrong firmware on box

Cactikid, I feel very embarrassed now, yes, I had the coaxial going into 'ant in', instead of the other 'antenna'. I did suss this myself after thinking that the scart didn't used to be so tight against the coaxial, but it doesn't take away the foolishness of my ways!!!

Thanks to everyone for their replies. Very much appreciated.
