    HELP!!! Starview 2 gone beserk.

Hi guys. I wonder if anybody can help. I flashed my box with the new software when it was made available several weeks ago and everything worked fine. A couple of days ago I had to take off my box because i was going get a visit from virgin to fix my phone which i get from them. after the technician left I reconnected the box and some channels had started to come up as scrambled. So I decided to re-install the channels, now im getting some 100 channels less no matter what I do.
Am I doing something wrong or do you think the cable guy has done something. He did tell me that he fixed the problem with the phone by doing something at the box we have in the streets. Im just wondering do virgin have the capabilities to do this. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards.

Maybe he moved you down in the cab or added an attenuator to your line. Have you a subbed box and is that working OK?

Try you box in a friends or family's house, if it works there then its your cabling. A booster may help if your signal has been weakened.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

          problem solved

Ive got it working. It was something really silly. My younger brother didnt connect the cable properly. Moral of story is, dont ask younger siblings to do shit, because they will funk it up, and check cables properly before going stupid. Thanks again for all your help.

          kind regards.
