mark...obviously dont mention to virgin wat ur intentions may be because it s illegal to plug ur flashed box into their network and watch all the channels including all the movies sports kids enterment music documentaries for free.these starview boxes have no talk back facility so virgin have no idea you have one unless you or someone else tells them.some people get the basic package and it works. to flash a box is to download the lastest firmware(programme) to enable the box to enscript the codes to open up all the channels...for educational purposes only ;;;;;if you need any advice ..read through the threads or post a question theres plenty of good peeps on here to help ,,,,,,,,,bigfella

right click on rar file and select 3rd extract file down and click ,this will save another folder to your desktop ,in this you will find the bin file ,then copy it to your usb stick

Dowload the file to your usb stick.
Put the usb into the back of the SV4 box.
              Go to menu.
              Choose USB in Menu
Highlite the file on the USB sick and press oK.
This will flash your box with the new frimware 1.07.
              Remove stick.
Do a factory reset from Menu
Do a autoscan (english) exit out 3 times
              Press menu and then 1570
Press default key and them turn emu key on.
Exit out and put on Sly Sp 1 and leave to scramble.
              You should be there now.
              Cheers
              Ash

Had my starview 3 for a year now and never had a knock at the door yet. Joined to see how to update software to stop the 'pure one' knocking my box out with the key changes every few days.
